We are pleased to be celebrating our 200^th anniversary on Oct 25 of this year. Since the 1950’s we have partnered with WPEL, on Sunday mornings at 11 o'clock, inviting you to join us in worshiping our risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate this milestone, our anniversary committee, has worked diligently to compile a booklet that overviews our 200-year history. If you are interested, we would like to make it available to you. Please scroll down for more information regarding the booklet.

We are excited to host a weekend of special meetings (Friday, October 24th, Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th) to celebrate all that God has done in and through First Baptist in Hallstead. The following is a brief description of our anniversary weekend:

Please note that Hallstead Baptist have never solicited funds from our radio listeners. Like WPEL we are a non-profit, non-commercial ministry. In light is this, if you would like to receive a booklet of our history, the Board has suggested a gift of $10 to help alleviate the cost. This suggested price will not fully cover printing costs or postage. We rely on the generosity of God’s people giving above their tithe.
